6 ways to draw a butterfly (part2)

Yo Guys! I;m back again on 6 ways to draw a butterfly! Let's start off from where we left off the last time.

1. Next, we will be learning how to draw a swallowtail butterfly. Draw 2 curves (a steep m), one on top of the other on each side for the wings.

2. Draw a small tail on both sides of the wings. For the tail try to draw long and slim to have a more pretty effect.

3. At the tip of the tail, draw 2 downward curves as large as possible (inverse m).

4. Draw 2 curve "L"'s as seen from the drawing above.

5. Draw 2 smaller and shorter "L"s like in step 4.

6. Complete the wing with a long and slim curved tail.

Do the same with the other side and then you'll get a swallowtail butterfly!

1. Next, we shall learn to draw a classy butterfly. Draw a curve on either side of the butterfly.

2. Complete the upper part of the wing by drawing a very loose "m".

3. The lower part of the curve draw a downwards triangle but remember to curve at the tip.

Do the same for the either side and you'll get a classy butterfly!

1. Next we shall learn how to draw a bold butterfly! Draw a upper curve for the wing. Try not to draw too steep.

 2. Like the classy butterfly, draw a loose "m".

3. Complete the wing by joining the end of the "m" to the end of the butterfly.

4. Draw a relatively enclosed and elongated oval from the middle "m" to the mid of the butterfly body. Do the same for the either side.

And there we are! We have complete the lesson on 6 ways to complete a butterfly!

Heh heh heh Till the next lesson then!

6 ways to draw a butterfly (part 1)

Hi guys! I'm back again! I'm trying to try something new. It's sort of a new experiment so I shall see how this works out. I'm not a professional artist or anything, but i really really love art! So i think this will be a good platform for me to have more practice and experience. I'm going to start off small first so probably these few months I will focus more on simple drawings and art designs. Who knows maybe i may want to expand more in the future?

Well now I'm going to kick start my experiment with "kid drawing 101". Here are 6 ways to draw a butterfly part 1. Haha, I know it may sound a bit stupid but hey this is all for the sake of fun and drawing! :)

First we shall start with the heart shaped butterfly.

1. Draw two hearts (excluding part of the tip) on opposite side of the butterfly.

2. Finish the wings by drawing two thinner and longer hearts (excluding part of the tip) on wither side of the wings.

Next we shall move on to the cute butterfly.

1. Draw a "bow-tie" structure to be the upper part of the wings. Make sure the two ends are relatively curved so that it will be cute instead of rigid or aggressive.

2.  Finish off by drawing a long oval like curve for the bottom part of the wings.

Next, we shall move on to the elegant butterfly, one of the more difficult ones to draw out of the 6.

1. For this butterfly i will only show one side of the wing. First, draw a curve as seen above.

2.  Starting from the tip of the curve, draw a "m" that is spread out.

3. At the tip of the "m" draw a curve inwards similar to a tick.

4. From the tip of where you left off, draw a "L" downwards. At about the end of the butterfly, draw another "L" downwards as well.

5. Extend a new line downwards from the tip of both "L"

6. Complete off the wing by drawing an oval/ bubble font "L".

In case you were wondering, this is the end product.

We shall stop here for today! Part 2 will be uploaded soon!
