Wedding dress (Chalk art)

Hi guys! It's me once again! Last weekend, I decided to do continue on my chalk art sketches. Today it's about THE WEDDING DRESS! It is somehow inspired by my idiom book, "Rome was not built in a day," where he bride who was designing this dress told this to her best friend whom was pestering her to finish her dress because her wedding was tomorrow. For this art, I decided to use purple flowers to represent the purity and a corset like dress which gives off a feminine and elegant look.

It is a dress that covers to the feet. The model is drawn without a face because the main emphasis is on the dress so I thought maybe i'll use a "dummy" model. The top of the dress is like a corset with frills around the neck area and at the bottom part, it is covered with plenty of frills of different  colours. First is the short purple frills to give off the elegance as well as highlight the purple flowers on top of the model's head. Next is a longer and bigger frill which is blue in colour to suggest royalty . The colours purple and blue are used partly also because they were commonly found during the olden days like the Victorian period. This dress is not only suited for the olden period, it has a tinge of modernity. Well that is all for today. I hope you enjoyed it. Bye! :)
